We've been cheated by you since we don't know when

We quit smoking yesterday.  Delicious cigarettes gone.  But, we're optimistic.  We look forward to reaping the healthful benefits.

We're strenuously trying to fill ourselves.  With what, you might be asking?  Well, quite literally anything we can get our eager hands on.  When you take things away [delicious cigarettes, for example] you have to replace them with something.  We haven't figured out what we want to replace [delicious] cigarettes with.  Carrot sticks maybe.

We wonder if maybe the president stores his peanut butter in the refrigerator.  If so, it would only support our claim that he's "the wrong sort of person".

...there are some things money can't buy.  For everything else, there's your immortal soul...

Look this way if you want pain
You
May not think that you're to blame
But
We have reason to complain
And
Massacre and bash and maim

...Holy God...Honey, we need to ask ourselves the important questions...Is this the kind of environment you want your daughter to grow up in?...Are you willing to give up exhuming cats for the sake of art?...What backwater-Illinois-child-service-agency gave you a child?...Is there someone we can call?...And:  where is the deli mustard?

Fata Morgana

Morgan
There is only one star in the sky tonight.  We're not even sure it's a star.  It might be a planet...
...
Never mind...
...
...It's moving.

Anyway:

Recipe for a Love Sachet:
1 Tonka Bean
1 pinch Witch Grass Root
1 pod Balm of Gilead
1 pinch Grains of Paradise
1 sm Rose Quartz
1 sm pink neck-sachet

Place ingredients in pink neck-sachet.  Place around neck.  Wear against skin - not over clothing.
...

We had a dream that we were selling frogs to Morgan Le Fay.

According to our possibly disreputable Dream Dictionary:

Selling
To dream that you are selling something, signifies changes and your feelings toward these changes.  You may experience difficulties in letting go or parting with something.

Frog
To see a frog in your dream, represents a potential to change or to do the unexpected.  The frog may be a prince in disguise.  Alternatively, the frog may suggest uncleanness.

Witch
To see a witch in your dream, represents evil, destructive, and dangerous feminine forces.  It may point to your negative ideas of the feminine and your experiences with heartless women.  Alternatively, a witch is symbolic of goodness, power, and enchantment.

Good luck with that one, buddy.

We're aware that our dream interpretation skills aren't where they ought to be.  But sometimes it helps us to put things into story form to better understand them:

We had an abundance of frogs.  It had been a good year for frog-harvesting and business was bustling.  Morgan Le Fay comes along, like she would, and says, " Hey, got any frogs?"

"Sure do," we reply: "five cents each, please."

Morgan buys a baker's dozen.  We receive sixty-cents and retire to Tahiti.

THE END.

Moral of the story:
  We should have charged more.

Potentially Dangerous

Posted on Aug 19th, 2006 by Abhva : Shadow Aspect Abhva
Thoughts are like boomerangs.  A friend said that.

You send them out there, and someday they come back to you with more force than you ever intended.

Sure you care.

But it's out of your hands.

Since this is our first entry, we felt it should be an introduction - though we're not sure how well it's going to go.

Our mission here is our own.  However, the things kept herein are purely for everyone else.  Take from it what you will.

As far as we ourselves are concerned, there isn't much to tell.  But even if there was, it would hardly matter.  We don't place much emphasis on ourselves.  Obscurity is a virtue.

Once we've started delving into the catacombs of our collective experiences, we implore you to participate.  We adore discussion.  We welcome any and all questions; any and all interrogators.

These ideas were around long before we wrote them.
What wasn't said here will be said elsewhere.

Peace,
[D]
